Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port & Convention Center – Hotel near airport in Fort Lauderdale

Upon arrival at 2 am, the room for 4 guests wasn't ready, and the sofa bed was not set up with no sheets provided. However, once settled, the rooms were fantastic for our large group, offering tons of space for the kids with two beds and a pull-out sofa. The room itself was spacious with a large TV, fridge, and kitchen area, providing comfort with 2 full-size beds.

My stay at the hotel was lovely. The rooms were spacious and so clean, which was great, but I missed having a microwave as we were traveling with a baby. The staff immediately and cordially addressed any issues. The service was adequate overall, but there were some hiccups. The location was a pleasant surprise with a spacious room compensating for the smaller area. The dining options were decent, but with room for improvement. The facilities were satisfactory with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The hotel had both positive and negative aspects. The rooms were large, comfortable, and clean, but the smell was so bad that it made it impossible for me to sleep. Additionally, being located adjacent to some type of generator on the 3rd floor was not ideal. The service was more than accommodating, with friendly and welcoming staff making special arrangements for us, like early airport shuttle service. The location was convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and both the airport and cruise port, although some noise from the settee area was noticeable. Dining was described as chaotic, but food quality was good, especially for classic Italian dishes. Despite this, I did feel the need for more tables and chairs and changes in the menu for extended stays. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory, although improvements could be made to enhance the overall experience. The hotel offered paid shuttle services and a complimentary buffet breakfast, making it a decent value for money option.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms, despite the smelling carpet and low pressured shower, were alright, a bit small in the bathroom, but the bed areas were spacious enough for three adults and all our luggage. The presence of a sala or living room was a nice touch. The service was top-notch, with the staff being very accommodating, especially with our 9 pieces of luggage, and they went above and beyond to fulfill our requests seamlessly. The location was convenient for us, just a short ride away from the convention center and Port Everglades, making it ideal for our needs. The dining experience was satisfying, offering a decent selection for a quick meal before heading out. However, there were a couple of misinformation issues regarding the proximity to the beach and the airport that caused some confusion.

The hotel boasts a clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet room despite nearby construction. However, the view from the window to the parking lot limited privacy but having a sitting area was a delightful surprise.
